Girl is Not a 4 Letter Word x Playa Yama collaborated this season to bring you a cool and casual black and greige checkered sweater you're going to want to live in this fall.
Girl is Not a 4 Letter Word, founded by the pioneer of female professional skateboarding, Cindy Whitehead, is a movement to bring awareness to females in action sports, to help get equal pay and representation. A portion of each sale will go towards supporting this movement!
The black checkered sweater is inspired by Playa Yama’s signature casual cool, mixed with the energetic, boundary-pushing aesthetic of Whitehead’s skate culture. The design features a bold checkered pattern, which has become a signature look for Playa Yama. The classic black-and-greige grid is the perfect nod to retro skateboarding gear while feeling modern and fresh. The oversized, relaxed fit ensures you can layer it up for mountain adventures or toss it over beachwear for those cooler coastal nights, and as always there are two front pockets.
